Hard Rock Bali

The first part of my trip through Bali brought me to the Hard Rock Bali, not my usual choice for a tropical destination, but it came with good reviews from my friends over at Back in Bali, so I took the plunge and jumped in.

The resort is very different to what you’d imagine, whilst full of the expected music memorabilia, it also has a lovely family vibe, with games for the kids in the main pool, as well entertainment for the whole family into the evening. They even have a rock climbing wall for the kids! When are you too old to take part in that?

I basically spent the first few days unwinding in a cabana or floating around the enormous pool in a blow-up donut. Getting right into holiday mode! I then ventured out and explored the bustling streets of Kuta. The resort is right opposite to the beach so it’s located perfectly if you want to check out the surrounds.

Key attractions to look out for at the Hard Rock Bali;

  • The Michael Jackson night – pretty cool tribute act if you love the King of Pop.
  • Saturday Foam Party – fun for the whole family in the middle of the resort.
  • Cabana life – Rent a cabana, trust me, it’s worth it. Take a book and order cocktails ’til the sun sets.
  • Jamie’s Italian – Just opened in the complex, beautiful decor and affordable food.
